Gupax
Gupax (GUI Uniting P2Pool And XMRig) is an open-source, Rust-based desktop application that streamlines the complex process of mining Monero. In a landmark move for the community in late 2025, the original Gupax and its popular Gupaxx fork were unified under a single organization (gupax-io), creating a more robust, feature-rich experience. Designed with a "Privacy First" ethos, it allows users to manage a local node, connect to remote nodes via a built-in crawler, and participate in the XMRvsBeast raffle, all from a single, lightweight dashboard.
About the product
- Unified Mining Stack: Manages the Monero node (monerod), P2Pool (bundled v4.12+), and XMRig (bundled v6.24.0+) within a single cohesive dashboard.
- New Daemon Mode: Added in the latest stable releases, allowing Gupax to run as a headless background process for 24/7 mining rigs while maintaining GUI management capabilities.
- Advanced Node Crawler: Automatically discovers and filters high-performance remote nodes, prioritizing those with the lowest latency to minimize rejected shares.
- Zero-Custody Payouts: Leverages P2Pool's decentralized sidechain to ensure funds are paid directly to your wallet with 0% pool fees and zero intermediary risk.
- Native XMRvsBeast Support: One-click participation in the community-driven raffle, which boosts hashrate for individual miners through a decentralized incentive layer.
- Lightweight Rust UI: Built on the egui library, providing a high-speed, friction-free interface that uses up to 5x less CPU than traditional electron-based wallets.
- Integrated Payout Calculator: Real-time tools to estimate daily/monthly earnings based on your current hashrate and network difficulty.
